  27. Essentially, ArcWeb does not make use of the toolbox system.
  28. Only two of its supplied tools (that are hardly used) need it,
  29. namely the DNS Tester and Web Colour Editor applications.

  31. It does load a newer version of the FilterManager module than
  32. is present in ROM in RISC OS 3.10/3.11 in !ArcWeb.!Run, but
  33. I have removed that line as it is only there so it is loaded
  34. at the earliest possible instant - replacing it with toolbox
  35. programs active and/or other filter manager clients which do
  36. not act on the service calls that report the module is dying
  37. causes those programs that don't follow the PRM to (even
  38. cause the computer to) crash horribly.  ArcWeb recommends
  39. that a newer filter manager is loaded in the !Boot sequence,
  40. or you could force ArcWeb to load the new copy without
  41. complaint if the original version (0.08) was unplugged and
  42. of course the !Run files of toolbox programs checked for it
  43. and RMEnsure'd it, loading System:Modules.FilterMgr if reqd.

  49. has at their disposal?  i.e. processor, RAM and OS.

  53. Undesirable.  I've not figured out a way to reboot in order
  54. to reclaim the RMA consumed from using a toolbox application
  55. without breaking the on-line connection.  Any bright ideas?
